TINPAN.AI COPYRIGHT POLICY
Version 2.0 · Effective date: September 17, 2026
Tinpan Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Tinpan"), respects copyrights and responds to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512.
Designated agent
Copyright Agent Tinpan Inc. hello@tinpan.ai
Notice of claimed infringement.
A copyright owner or authorized agent may send a written notice containing: (1) a physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if one notice covers multiple works; (3) identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient for Tinpan to locate it, including the relevant URL, bucket or brief, and song title where available; (4) the complaining party's name, postal address, telephone number, and email address; (5) a statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the complained-of manner is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law; and (6) a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right.
Tinpan may forward the notice to the affected user and remove or disable access to the material. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice may create liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).
Counter-notice.
A user whose material was removed or disabled may send the designated agent a written counter-notice containing: (1) the user's physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the removed material and its former location; (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification; (4) the user's name, postal address, and telephone number; and (5) a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where the user's address is located, or, if outside the United States, the federal district where Tinpan is located, and accepting service of process from the original complaining party or its agent.
Tinpan may forward a valid counter-notice to the original complaining party. Tinpan may restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after forwarding the counter-notice unless the designated agent first receives notice that the complaining party filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the user's allegedly infringing activity.
Repeat infringers.
Tinpan will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights. Tinpan considers valid notices, counter-notices, retractions, court determinations, repeated unauthorized uploads, red-flag knowledge, and other relevant circumstances. Tinpan may terminate after fewer incidents when conduct is knowing, egregious, systematic, or otherwise warrants immediate action. Tinpan accommodates and does not interfere with standard technical measures within the meaning of §512.
Other rights.
The DMCA process is for copyright claims. Copyright and other intellectual-property claims must be submitted through this DMCA process or the applicable rights-holder process, never through the in-app brief-report control. Requests concerning the identity of a named party, right of publicity, impersonation, privacy, or endorsement should be sent to hello@tinpan.ai and are handled under the expedited process described in the Terms of Service §10. Tinpan may address abuse under its Terms independently of the DMCA.
